I'm not one who's usually given to asking these kinds of requests, but my father-in-law and the rest of my wife's family can use all the extra prayers they can get right now

My FIL has been battling bone cancer for a while now, and was admitted into the hospital a week ago for pneumonia. The pneumonia resolved and it appeared he was starting to do better but he has now developed severe, uncontrollable congestive heart failure.

The hospital just called in all the family this afternoon as they don't feel he'll make it through the night as his blood pressure keeps bottoming out despite anything they do.
