Just wanted to share my experience here. I recently purchased a brand new glock 26. I did a lot of reading on the glocks, well baby glocks specifically. I was a little weary going from sa/da to a striker fired gun seeing as my only other experiences with them was a s&w sigma and keltec pf9.

Anyway I would just like to share my results after about 200-250 rounds of practicing.

I'm pretty happy with a 1"x2" group, especially for a new platform to me. It's not as much of a "joy" to shoot as my h&k but its proving very fun.

Just bought a G30 but haven't gotten to the range yet. Really like the feel of it. Hope My results are as good as yours. What kind of holster are you planning to use?

According to Glock you just purchased the most accurate Glock made.

those pinky extentions make a world of difference.

a bit easier to shoot but harder to conceal, which is that gun's whole purpose in life. I practice and carry mine with the standard magazine, but have two extended ones when I qualify with it yearly.

I reall don't notice much difference with the extensions on. I think because the extension is very close to my belt so it kind of flows. I'm 6ft, 165lbs so pretty much everything is noticeable somewhat.

Are you left handed? Or left eye dominant? Or both, by chance?
No, I'm righty righty. I think I subconsciously aim a little to the right to account for my tendency to pull left slightly at longer targets. This one is probably just to close to notice. Obviously at 300-600 meters that little bit would make a huge difference.

Oh, there's no conclusive evidence about the position of the group vs your POA. I'm just collecting data!

In slowfire, I tend to hold a bit left of center for some reason-- as a righty/righty. A buddy of mine (not much of a gun guy, but a remarkably good natural shot) is cross dominant, and the opposite.

Just looking for some possible correlation-- an academic exercise, if you will!

I hear ya. I'm pretty sure that in basic training I was usually tired or pyshically strained and that caused more errors in my technique. It seems that I'm still trying to compensate for those flaws years later. I really need to get a membership at a range so I can hammer out my kinks. I would like to possibly try competion shooting as a hobby. Being out of the military I really don't have much to do, besides racing my cars.

@hollier: yeah man, glock has so muh hype behind the name. It's rediculous to get this quality of work from a big name like that.

All I have for mine is a Blackhawk inside the pants holster size 7. I don't wear it offen, it's really nice in the car though if you wedge your gun somewhere or even put it inthe glove box it keeps it from getting banged up.
