I was trying to wait long enough so hopefully this will get buried and glossed over.
As a child I was told the ocean was salty because hundreds of years ago a man invented a salt making machine and sent it out on a ship that sank but the machine kept working turning the water salty.
Physical science in elementary school later corrected that.

I heard from several young guys my age in the early 60’s that Federal ammunition was corrosive.

A .45 will knock an enemy soldier backwards from a bayonet charge . An old soldier told me this . He also said it would shoot through an engine block .

    That’s what I thought.
I also always heard bats are great for mosquito control.
Bats do eat a lot of skeeters. I actually have a couple of friends who have dedicated bat nesting boxes on their property. They go out at dusk and count the bats as they exit for the night time feeding. I'm in the middle of a project building a new larger bat box for one of those guys.

Soaking a snakebite in kerosene pulls out the venom....btw I never had opportunity to try this one but sure glad I didn't add septic shock to a venomous snake bite.

I hate a possum more than anything....gross nasty critters. I will go out of my way to hit one on the road. Saw a few run out from inside a dead horse (eating it from inside the cavity) when I was young....solidified for me that they were filthy and I've shot every one I could since

I always heard kerosene helped arthritis and ailments.
I once had the chance to work for an industrial hygienist who worked on and studied the medical issues related to those that did that.. lots of things were caused by that ..
I used to get paint thinner and or other things that evaporated rubbed on me to alleviate sun burn. it did help. but at what cost??

All my stoner friends saying “Weed is Natural. It’s all safe if it’s natural.” Then I would reply, Would you smoke Hemlock? It’s natural too.
    “What’s Hemlock?”
