I didn't say it doesn't happen, I said the wrong cases get undeserved attention, which creates a smoke screen for the cases that actually deserve attention.

And bad cops go unpunished, or their criminal actions are swept under the rug by their department.

How stupid does she have to be? Doing something illegal in another country. Apparently VERY STUPID. But her wife misses her.
I know right? It's really stupid to be WWA(Walking While American) in Russia!
    Really?
    You trust Putin?
Putin regularly interferes with criminal trials in Russia. He actually calls judges while court is in session to make sure that the desired outcome is reached.

The lesson that she will learn is that Russian police are worse than she can ever imagine any police department in America. She will learn all about Pu$$y Putin's rigged criminal justice system.

Poor guy, thinks it's his fellow citizens that are funding cartels and terrorists organizations. He must have never heard fast and furious, Contras, Freeway Rick Ross, Barry Seal, or any of the other countless instances of our government doing all those things you blame on your fellow marijuana using citizens.
If you want to blame something or someone for these things, you can't blame the end user, when it's your government who creates, funds, and supplies every aspect of it.

Me, I just wonder if the old girl is rethinking her feelings about our great country. I think back to all the little snowflakes that swore they’d leave the country if Trump was elected. Not one left. They just stayed and cried about things while the economy improved, jobs were plentiful, our borders were more secure. People could once again see the American dream as a possibility while others tried to burn it down. I believe this girl is part of the problem here in the US. She’s party to the hate of liberty. I just feel better with her being locked up abroad.
I mean, look at it this way, she’s not even costing the tax payers anything now………….

I don’t think so. Drug charges are drug charges. She’s not a political prisoner. Although I’m sure any legal team would try to play that card, the bottom line is she’s accused of breaking laws and her incarceration is of her own doing. They’ll likely just do a go fund me or something of the sort for her.

She will not have a legal team in court. She will get a public defender who is actually picked by the Investigator instead of the court. The judge is appointed by Putin, then rubber stamped by Parliament, so the Investigator is permitted to do this. The Investigator denies any private legal team access to the client and stonewalls them on every visit. The legal team is then considered absent and the public defender must fill in for them. The Investigator picks the public defender from a list of trusted "attorneys" who have cooperated with him in the past. After making a token argument, the public defender does not challenge any of the "evidence", and then signs off on the Investigators documents without any review. In short, the assigned "council" actually assists the prosecution.

    From Meduza

    "
The lawyers’ Code of Ethics states that the quality of free, court-appointed defense should not differ from a reliability standpoint from the quality provided by private attorneys.

In practice, an institution that was created to help lower-income citizens (with its analogue in countries around the world) has become an appendage of Russia's state prosecutors. Especially when it comes to controversial political cases, the only thing separating public defenders from the police is that they don't wear uniforms. Courts maintain the appearance that suspects' rights are being observed, but the confessions that detained persons give in the presence of their appointed defenders frequently leave committed lawyers in horror."

If Pu$$y Putin thinks we will stop providing the intelligence that helps Ukraine assassinate micro managing Russian generals, target the Russian navy, providing AWAC support to their pilots, and lots of other military aid for her return, then he is mistaken.

Here's an idea! Tell Pu$$y Putin that we will renew import licenses for Russian ammo and firearms in exchange for her release. LOL!

Ukraine is just as corrupt as Russia is. It’s like the equivalent of helping a demon fight the devil. I would like to see nothing more than to keep our nose out of it and instead of sending billions of dollars to Ukraine maybe invest that in securing our boarders.

Fwiw you can call Putin a lot of things but I don’t think a ***** cat is one of them. Dudes got a set of nuts. He may be a P.O.S. for sure but I don’t think the term puss comes to mind for many when thinking of Putin.

Actually, Pu$$y Putin was a low ranking KGB desk clerk in East Germany during the Cold War. He was never military, so his history is much closer to that wimp Heinrich Himmle(civilian in uniform) than Hitler. Pu$$y Putin snuck into politics on the heels of Boris Yeltsin.

Putin is a Pu$$y because he did nothing but whine about when Turkey shot down one of his SU-24 bombers and US supported Syrian rebels shot the pilot before his chute hit the ground and killed a Russian Marine who tried to save him; all with our blessing LOL!

When President Trump told the Pentagon "F**k'em", The US Army used 155mm artillery and Apache gunships to kill over 200 Russian troops and wound hundreds more in Syria. Pu$$y Putin did nothing!

I think we can all agree theirs a fine line between being stupid or being a puss.

So by your logic if you didn’t serve in the military or you did but had a desk job that makes you a puss? I’m not sure what him being a clerk in the military really has to do with any of this.
