If they start trying to push confiscation, that's when **** will get comedic at best. Like I've always said. We as citizens are just minions. We can write all the letters to senators or congressmen all we want. Until we can put $$$ In their pockets we are nothing. I know several members of this forum for example are financially comfortable, but nobody here is in a position to throw around enough money to make a difference

I don't see them playing the confiscation game just yet. They have time on their side. They will continue to chip away and wait for the younger, weaker minded generations. Once we are out of the picture, they might not even have to confiscate.
That being said, things are certainly going to speed up in the coming years, as they already have. Who knows what shenanigans will be pulled. Rough times ahead, that is for certain.

What did gun rights activist get in the “compromise”? Did SBR, suppressors, etc come off the NFA LIST? If nothing was conceded on the gun grabber side then it’s not a compromise..is just more giving up of God Given constitutional protected rights! Boiling frogs being killed by slowly boiling water along with a thousand cuts. We’re doomed.

If I may ask how many times have you been down to the state capital to support a gun bill or oppose and anti?

If 25% of the people complaining showed up 50% of the time to the capital, we'd never see another anti gun bill. Ever.

You are correct I have never been down to the capital but I have written and called my representatives time and time gain. I vote and voice my opposition to all these infringements. Attacking won’t help. Come on man!

If any of the politicians that were elected were true to their conservative base, they would not have to be told AT ALL to dismiss ANY bill that went against 2A. Prove me wrong.

Not saying this won't happen, and not saying that it will. But the actual Senate bill has not yet been written and it has not been voted up or down on the Senate floor. Only a draft has been agreed upon in committee. Time will tell.

Not happening. They need to pack their bags and grab a pink slip on the way out of the chamber.

I read about the bill framework that was agreed on… seemed like a decent & creative compromise. The left is pissed and the right is pissed so that’s how you know it has a chance of clearing both houses of congress lol.

It all sounds good natured on paper, even the "red flag" laws tend to sound promising to people that either don't own guns or don't know any better.
I know better than to trust that any of what is said on paper won't be enforced in such a way that is either not misused/abused or simply used as another way to funnel tax payer dollars into corrupt pockets.
