    WOW.
This does not surprise me, though.
    As society decays...

I will definitely be focusing on fishing more, from here on out.
Me and my overly-nice gear will be pursuing a few quality fish for a meal, as often as I can muster during my time off.
This is the best thing anyone can do if at all possible; remove yourself from their reality and live in your own. It's hard for me to do this, because I find it all so fascinating.

On the other hand, it is still in everyone's best interests to be in the know and not completely ignore all the signs, so that we are able to prepare ourselves for what is to come. So, it's sort of a double edge sword. Maybe find a happy medium, don't get so involved in needing to know details about everything, but still pay attention to important happenings so that you aren't blindsided.

I try to do just that, remove myself from it all. It’s hard when I have young boys and I feel like I need to pay attention for them. That and like you said I find it interesting most of the time. One thing I will say is it seems more people are aware today than ever before. I guess that has a lot to do with how blatantly in your face they are with most things now.

Paying attention, being awake, being Vigilant, is why I've been so "consumed" in information the last few years.
I've sometimes felt that I'm suffering an information overload and I want to turn my back on all of it, and go on about my quiet little life.
Like You, I believe I have to pay attention, especially with what I have seen and learned.

It is absolutely fascinating, but worrisome as of late.

If I manage to get some pics of my trips/harvest, I'll post them here if I still have an active account.

Much of my Bass fishing is done with lighter Finesse gear/tackle. I have a Calcutta Conquest BFS on a Teramar XX SW 6' 6" Medium with 10 lb. Xplasma braid. The reports could be plentiful. LOL!

Speaking of crap employees, the USPS strikes again.

I'm currently 9 days into waiting for a package that contains a federal document of mine that was sent "overnight".
After giving USPS specific directions to the delivery address, the tracking info now states it was delivered and that I signed for it.

I have not seen a USPS employee, they haven't seen me, and I have not signed for anything.
How is this not a crime?

    AWESOME Find!

I'll finish reading it when time permits.

We Conservatives have been saying much of that for quite a while now.
    LMAO!!!
I wish all the guys that were on this forum, talking down to everyone that was calling all of this for what it was 2 years ago, would come out of hiding. Where y'all at? It's no fun without you guys. Please come back and tell us how we are killing people by not wearing masks or getting jabbies.

I hope you get your package, USPS is definitely hit or miss lately.

What's crazy is, that article isn't on the front page of every news outlet. You have to get it from other crazy conspiracy nuts or just stumble across it. Not to say that there haven't been other similar articles written but that one was very well put together, and remains posted on the NIH website but still gets very little attention.

It's so strange to still see people in south Louisiana wearing a mask. It's like a pacifier at this point. Adults walking around wearing pacifiers. Some even still wearing them by themselves, in their own vehicle.

Seems the DUI charge was dropped.
If it was me, I'd lose my professional license, career, and everything else that Us peasants lose when We step out of line.

Dude, it would take MONTHS of scheduled appointments, meetings, motions, and filings for anyone else to get results like that from the court, and then rinse and repeat with the DMV.

yup still comming.... guessing our gov has nothing in place or no plan for this except open the gate

"...a journey that could end in tragedy." Yeah, it will be yet another tragedy for our country when they are paraded across the border, bussed and flown around the country, and handed ready-to-sign ballots.

The fact that article is on a government website AND it mentions the remdesivir is the icing on the cake.

The fact that my now-disabled Wife found herself without her RN nursing job because she refused the shot leads me to ponder what possibilities there may be for me to SUE every involved entity that pushed this whole thing that led to this strain on Our life.
I have MANY-thousands of dollars spent due to the vax mandate, for an illness I never got.
I've known quite a few people that tested positive but I have not known anyone to die from it.
I HAVE heard firsthand reports from police and nurses that there have been many deaths from various other causes (gunshot, vehicle and motorcycle accidents) but since they tested positive for covid, they were ruled as covid deaths.
    This number-skewing has been widespread.

If you saw me out in public (not in my vehicle) you will likely see me wearing a 27" cotton bandana over my face.
It is only related to "covid" because I said from the start of this pLandemic that I would continue wearing a face-covering long after they "lifted the mandate" simply because I'm an @$$hole.
I am an introvert so covering my face is actually quite nice, and combining that with a hat is an absolute pleasure.

    Government: "mask up!"
    Everyone: "mask on"
    Government: "masks off!"
    Most people: "mask off"

    Like musical chairs.
    This is insanity.

Now monkeypox, now gun-grabbing red flag laws, now labeling parents and people who question 2020 election integrity/results and covid/vaccine as "domestic terrorists".

It baffles me, but also amuses me, that they're actually serious.

    Exactly.

And potentially years to recover one's life back to where it was before the incident.
The damage to one's life would stretch far and wide, which is one of the Truths Of Life that keep me Walking The Line.

I thoroughly enjoy being able to pay bills, put food on the table, spend my off-time free to enjoy life, have nice material possessions.
    I LOVE Quality.

I know what making mistakes can do to life, firsthand.
Our lives ride on a razor's edge, just like life itself.
It doesn't take much to destroy it, so each individual has a choice to make. Either be mindful and potentially protect your life, or live wild and likely destroy your own life and probably have nothing or next-to-nothing (no peace, joy, or happiness, or anything tangible worth having).

These are some of the things I've told my son.

But yeah, We The People wouldn't get off of a charge like that, or at least not that quick and easy.
