To differ, I read that as a good sign. What he doesn't sign becomes law by default. It's possible that's his way of showing his displeasure without actually using veto. If he had threatened veto again explicitly I'd be pessimistic.
If I remember correctly didn’t he say last year flat out he would veto it?

Not a win but a step in the right direction. If they pass this one this year by next year with more states adopting constitutional carry and us voting for it again it’s going to get harder and harder to veto or deny
Sorry friends I do not see this as a step in the right direction. There is no constitutionality in this bill as written to date. The Constitution was for all Americans.

I agree, never said it wasn’t and voiced my frustration earlier but IF it passes it’s better than nothing and a step in the right direction for next year

I'm tending not to agree with your assessment on the 14:95(M)

I read it does not include all Louisiana residents, but only carves out for a select few, which it should not.

It looks like you were correct. I found a summary of the house amendments to the SB, and it doesn't look good.....

Taco Behl Edwards days as Gubnah are numbered. We WILL have a new Governor for the 2024 legislative session.

Let’s make sure that the Repubs nominate a good one and ensure that (s)he wins in Nov 2023. Elections have consequences.

I am confident that this will pass with this scumbag out of office.

So conceal carry without a permit for military/veterans with proper ID or Dd214 on them? This will make those people happy.

Anyone hear something about conceal carry for veterans being passed and signed by the governor?
