    Using Boudreaux dictionary:

FAFO (Fudge Around and Find Out)
    Defined
Fudge Around And Find Out 1. To  fudge with someone that you know shouldn't be fudged with, then find out why they shouldn't be fudged with in the most painful and humiliating way possible. 2. is a catchphrase warning that taking negative steps will result in unwanted consequences.

I don't think they would ever charge the good guy. Perp comes in waving a gun, threatening deadly force, and robbing the patrons. Good guy neutralizes the threat, the perp.

What about the knife in the perps waist band the perp was trying to get to? You didn't see it? No, neither did I but it could have been there. The shooter was there, he made the call.

I try my best not to draw too many conclusions from a single angle of a video.

I stopped Monday Night Quarterbacking these events. Video never give the full picture and in this day and age, I will almost ALWAYS side with the defender. I think most people are getting tired of the weak mindset that has been infecting our nation. Logic has to come back into play in our daily lives.

First shot appears to be at 19:17 and last shot appears to be at 19:22.

    Five seconds.

He kept shooting until the threat was neutralized. Maybe the last shot was a little after the fact, but still, I think from this video alone that he'd have a really hard time getting (a) charged by a DA (especially in Houston) and (b) getting convicted by a jury of his peers.

All he has to articulate is that the bad guy moved towards the gun again as he was walking up to him.

The hero customer who shot and killed an armed robber at a Houston taco joint last week has been ordered to face a grand jury by District Attorney Kim Ogg, the Soros-funded prosecutor who appears to have let the career criminal he put down out on bond

Where are the experts that gave all the opinions when the cop shot that guy holding the woman with the knife? I’m disappointed to say the least

"The thug he shot was a career criminal who should have been locked up in prison, KTRK reports:" Give this guy a medal, he saved the tax payers tons of money by not having to deal with this waste of flesh!

It doesn't sound like any charges have been filed against the guy and he has not been arrested.

I'm not familiar with Houston / TX legalities regarding what happens after a self-defense shooting. Is it business as usual to present the facts of a shooting to a grand jury?

Through minimal googling, it seems that this is normal practice and is required under Texas Law for an unnatural death.

I think he was good with the first 4 shots. Shots 5 through 8 might be questionable as he seemed to already be neutralized. Shot number 9, after he had already picked up the robber's gun, might be a big problem for him. That said, the robber effed around and found out and he won't offend again.
