Since nobody sparked one off, I’ll throw this out there. Apparently it’s been sitting over Montana for days, supposedly made the trip over Alaska and through Canada and NORAD decided not to say anything, again? What? Uh huh.
Biden said, “shoot it down”, the Pentagon said, “nope” and apparently the only reason we know about this one is because it’s so visible.
My thoughts: they’re calling it a “spy” balloon, sitting above commercial altitude in our airspace that they’ve apparently tracked since it was sent aloft in commie land, yet China has a slew of low orbit spyware flying over us constantly. I’m thinking it’s something else. A threat? Who knows. A statement? China saying, “look at how the air currents travel”? A test of how far they can trod? In what world would we normally not immediately shoot down something like this? It stinks to high heaven.

Joe’s going to shot it down with “two blast from a double barrel Shotgun”.
I’d punch a few holes in the balloon so it looses altitude till it slowly comes down. If there’s anything left, it can be analyzed for intel. I bet it’s full of Joes Top Secret Documents.

The fact that they scrambled a couple F22 Raptors on Tuesday to track it down tells me they didn’t have knowledge of it before then.

I think they probably shot it down.

Hmm. Reports had it over Kansas today. I don’t know what to believe
