      Music you're listening to now!

StatusQuo. These guys were huge in Europe while Aerosmith, bad company, grand funk we’re burning it up . Underrated, and had they toured with any of the above named bass it would have been hugely. “Ive got a big fat mama and there’s no one else around”

      Decent pellet rifle $100?

Piston guns like that are great, and my favorites. I have two Dianas (48 & 350) and they have accounted for many squirrels. However, they tend to have a significant learning curve. So for a ypungster trying to master the basics of hold, sight picture, etc. , the double recoil of springers...

      Decent pellet rifle $100?

https://www.airgundepot.com/beeman-qb78-deluxe-air-rifle.html Spin the wheel and get $20 off. This is a copy of the old crosman 160. IMO best for younger shooters.

Recomendatons for 20 Ga Pump for Youth

My only pump is an 870 express 20 ga. The wood is ugly but otherwise it’s superb. I think they (and the 1100) are well-balanced guns and easy to shoot well. I also have recently bought two of the Tristar 20 ga. Autos and im very happy with them. Whether or not they hold up over time remains...

      WTS: Thompson .45LC

Older Thompson pistol in 45LC/.410. Gifted to me a long time ago and has been sitting up ever since. Not my cup of tea really. Original butt grip was broken and replaced. Forend has a few dings but nothing unfixable(needs to be refinished to match butt anyway). Octagon barrel, cuts...

      Biggest Regret?

Great replies. I also let go of a marlin 39(not a pistol obviously) in early 90’s to buy van halen tickets. Stood in line for 4 hours then got the word they were sold out. That one still makes me sick.

      Biggest Regret?

So what handgun do you most regret selling? For me it was my S&W 3913. Beretta 21 probably next.

      Favorite handgun?

I had an S&W 3913 in mid-nineties. It was not pretty and didn’t feel as good in my hand as some others, but it was accurate as all get out and very, very reliable ( and one of the many, many guns i regret selling). Still CZ75 would be my pick if I could only have one.

      Settle a bet

I think its pretty cool and would live to have the Ruger carbine. Being standardized by NATO can’t hurt. https://fnamerica.com/press-releases/nato-standardizes-fns-5-7x28mm-caliber/#:~:text=As%20a%20NATO%20standardized%20caliber,in%20weapons%20of%20this%20caliber.

      Best Handguns of 2022.

Got a chance to shoot a .44 when I was in the AF. We went up to mount lemon to shoot our guns and some guys had one and let my roommate and I put a magazine each through it. It bounced biwling pins pretty good. A hand cannon for sure and will put a smile on your face.

Recomendatons for 20 Ga Pump for Youth

Academy has the Winchester SXP which is one of the Turks. It has pretty wood and short barrel and LOP. I bought a Tristar semiautomatic 20 guage for my son last year and he’s put about 400 shells through it on the skeet field with no hiccups. Not sure how these will hold up long term. I grew...
