3,225 rounds is a pretty good amount of rounds but in my experience it doesn't rate two exclamation marks unless you are genuinely surprised at that accomplishment. Back when I was very actively shooting USPSA a 1,000 rounds a month was the norm. These days it's just Glock GSSF matches at 3...

      Any Old School Beretta Fans?

I have always preferred the original rounded, elegant trigger guard to the "hooked" trigger guard. My Berettas today are a M21 Bobcat 22LR and a 92FS Desert Storm Commemorative.

1987 Colt Series 80 with Wilson Combat work

Just from a cursory look at the exterior, all I can see that has been done to it is the front slide serrations, a hammer, a trigger and a beavertail. The sights are not factory but also not milled into the slide like what Wilson usually would have done as the rear is in the original factory...

      Colt M4 carbine

Unless I was considering a KAC, a 69XX series Colt would be my first choice. There are other considerations out there such as FN and LMT but I have, and still do, prefer and own Colts. The Expanse line is, in may opinion, not really a "Colt."

      New Application turnaround

Earlier this summer mine took almost exactly 2 months. The wife and I drove to the LSP Baton Rouge HQ for fingerprints and submitted the paperwork there and then, 2 months later it was in our mail.

      gun trust notary

I just had Geaux Title on Girod St in Mandeville notarize my CMP WWII 1911 pistol paperwork. $25 per signature, I only needed one signature, they did ask what it was for when I called in.

My wife wanted a Gen she could start so

This season I bought a Honda EU2200i and installed an hour meter. Spent some time doing a proper break-in but never needed it here in Mandeville. Ran it till it was out of gas, changed the oil and I'm ready for next year.
