It will be used by our non-profit for displays, parades, photo ops, etc. I am trying to locate a Vietnam era M-5 medical instrument case/medic bag for the ambulance. It's bigger than the 3 compartment easier...

Can I put different calibered upper on my SBR lower?

Thanks. The 7.5" 5.56 is awesome! Runs like a scalded cat and I can transition and hit plates out to 200 yds easily with it. Using a Burris AR-332 red dot and there is practically no hold-over out to 200 using the center dot in the reticle. The .300 is using a Primary Arms 2.5 red dot...

Can I put different calibered upper on my SBR lower?

I got my stamp in (mailed 12/4, received 12/7, pending 1/4, approved 4/16) for my .300 BO SBR. The lower is the one with the serial number and engraving. Can I put a different caliber short barreled upper on that lower as long as it isn't a "permanent change"? ex- want to put a 7.5" 5.56...

Using Hard Cast Bullets with Hi Tek Coating

Ditto on what Bryanbag and 4thMiss said. BB are the way to go. Donnie has always returned my phone calls, filled my orders promptly and helped troubleshoot a problem I was having with loading the .40 caliber ones- resolved. I trust them enough to run through an M1A Thompson and they DO NOT lead.

300 blackout: crimping yes or no?

I put a light crimp (Lee FCD) on my supersonic loads and do not crimp my subs. Not enough recoil to matter much either way I suspect.

      30/06 as mid range hunter

Also, mic'ing the rifle's chamber will help tailor the OAL that works best for that rifle. I set my bullet back .002-.005" from the lands so there is minimal jump. Uniform the primer pockets and debur the flash holes. Every little variable you can eliminate that will affect ignition and...

      Garand Questions.

Yes, they would fill up the void at the front (end with the trap door) with a few patches to keep the contents from rattling.

Sawyer Point One Emergency Water Filtration Kit

We used the Point One in Alaska to filter some Tundra Pond water- yellowish water to crystal clear. The Army guys we were hunting with were amazed- they had been using a Katadyn Expedition bag filter and were drinking the clear yellow water. I said, "no way I will drink yellow water- I work in...

M1 Carbine .. For those of you who ---

My wife shot my Inland and the look on her face was like, I want it. I told her NO! I'll find you one. I found her an Underwood and had it restocked with an underwood stock, buttplate, etc. She calls it her "lil' typewriter". Imagine her face when I transfered in an M2 unit and installed it...
