      Maybe ya'll have forgotten or just weren't here, but it was MUCH MUCH worse after Katrina. Both the governor and the president were clueless. All local banks were closed shut - you couldn't get at your money. Gas in Baton Rouge was $3 a gallon (in 2005!). My home in Jefferson Parish was...

      Thanks for adding me as a member. I'm just a good ol' retiree splitting time between Metairie and Mississippi trying (mostly) to stay out of trouble. Wishing for the old days of .223 in brass at $0.50 per.
