Most Americans don't know that Turkey has a long established history of making quality firearms. I didn't believe until I shot a few and did some research.
I find the Canik more comfortable in my hand than a Block - I mean Glock.
IT'S CLICK BAIT! NOT HIS REAL MOTHER!
Unless you see the confirmed source of the video, don't believe it on face value! I've seen this as a milf-young guy vid.
None of the Marines or soldiers I served with had a problem with it. Dark green, light green, other green, it didn't matter.
Let the clueless hate and complain. Most people don't know to appreciate what they have until it's gone. But even though they're idiots, and it can be offensive, I did...
Hi all,
The coating on my CZ 82 is "polycoat" based on information I could find. It is not specified in the CZ manual. Seen this on other guns as well. Is this really just a two-part paint or something? I'm thinking of having it re-finished. Ceracote/Duracote or a polycoat again. Maybe blue it...
The Tristars are/were made by Canik and are one of the best clones out there. The SP-01 is genuine CZ excellence, but your clones are close quality.
Treat yourself and get the SP-01, but definitely consider keeping the Tristars as well.
The pistol on my night stand is the polymer EAA Witness/Tanfoglio full size CZ 75 clone. I absolutely love it. Found it at a pawn shop/gun store in BFE GA. Guy behind the counter said it sat there for 3+ months with no interest because no one seemed to know what a CZ 75 was. I got it in 2015 for...
Girsan makes excellent weapons. Sarsilmaz/SAR USA and Canik as well. Most Americans don't know that Turkey has a long history of producing high quality firearms. They are inexpensive here, so I think many people dismiss them as low tier or cheap. So much not so!
I am thinking about picking up...
Both the P-64 and the CZ 82 are great. I saw a P-64 recently at a gun show for $400. It was in rough shape and did not have the holster and cleaning brush. Mine looks like it came out of the factory and it is my age (1969!). Bought it in 2015 for $225 in GA.
Picked up a nice CZ 82 recently...
The CZ 75 is the ergonomically comfortable pistol I've ever held and shot. I Highly recommend getting one.
A close second is the Tanfoglio 75 clone. Best one out there imo, but very hard to find.
