I fully "get it" and understand how vital it is. It's important work, and much easier to do the type of work you are promoting, rather than wait around until we have a 2A crash then start worrying on how to undo it. Our 2A house should always be made out of brick rather than straw...
Whether you previously voted for Maness or Cassidy in the primary, I really encourage everyone to go back out and vote again in this run-off. Those votes for Cassidy and Maness were essentially anti-Landrieu votes. I hope the Maness voters turn out again to add additional anti-Landrieu votes...
If you didn't vote at all, IMO you don't have much room to comment, but you can "repent" in this run-off. :D
If you didn't vote for Cassidy, and that's okay...... but obviously "your guy" will not be in the run-off. If you have now lost interest, or are angry, or are complacent, or...
This is really not the time to fracture our voting power. If you don't want Landrieu as your senator again, it's time for us all to galvanize as voters behind one candidate. You might "make your point" voting for Maness, but at the end of the day is it worth it since WE might wind up with...
I agree and I'd like for one of the guys to go in at 51% and avoid a risky run-off. I've been saying a long time if we are going to turn Congress and this nation around, we all have to get on the same page, and do it quickly.
Let's all put our vote and support behind the guy that has the...
This is a very important election year for Louisiana (and the U.S.). Maness may be a great guy and all, but Cassidy is (and has been) the strongest candidate to defeat her. If the voters let Maness peel off too many votes in the primary, we could wind up with Landrieu again.
I'd be alright...
Thank you for serving our country, however at this time there is a possibility that a "split the conservative vote" is in place. If the voters are not wise, it might allow Landrieu to be re-elected. I work daily on behalf of electing who I think is the strongest candidate and that would be...
Thanks for the efforts by the LSA and NRA !!!
I know it's very effective when the LSA and NRA go to the Capitol and say their members support such and such bill, and at the same time those very members (and other gun owners) start ringing their legislators phones and flooding their email...
This day and time, we have to do more than just cast our single vote (at least I hope we're all doing that).
We've got to outwork the competition.
We've got to support a common candidate with money and/or our volunteer time.
We've got to encourage our family/friends to get out and vote pro...
