      Wby Vanguard Stocks (Hands-on)

For Weatheby Vanguard 7mm Mag. Does anyone have "Hands on" experience with aftermarket stocks on this rifle? What are the sources for the stocks? I always favor a Basic Straight Comb profile. laminated or solid wood just fine. Of course reasonable $$$ relative to the price of the rifle. Thanks

      WTB: found

Looking for a Glock 21 pre-rail / pre finger groove. Not looking for a collector, just a shooter. Thought I might give it a shot here before I purchase one of the surplus police models. Cosmetics are not important but there is always a limit. Function must be fine. I don't want or need any...

      WTB: Budget Friendly 243

I'm looking for a budget Friendly 243. Shorter compact unit preferable. Will be used by my pretty half. Need not be pretty, but mechanically sound. Thanks J

      Another Drug Bust.

Must have had one hell of a tooth ache. Remember seeing an old movie where dad caught kid smoking and made him smile the whole pack... Maybe we can try that once guys are found guilty.

      Hoyt or Mathews

Find trusted shop in your area. I'm in Denham and love Gothem Archery, just check around relatively close to you. Make sure it feels good. Start with a kit with a bunch of adjustable weight and draw length - work on form don't worry about fancy gizmos at beginning of wanting to draw high...

      New and looking to try.

You don't have to break the bank find a ship that has a good reputation. My advice start with a basic kit.. with large range of adjustment of both draw weight and length. Don't try to get a super high poundage at the beginning. practice and develop good form then.. move up in weight.. so around...

I would love to learn this skill

Definitely helps to take an entry level lesson. I think biggest problem is people get stuck on shooting a heavy draw. They have compounds with a wide range of adjustment for draw weight and length of pull. Find a shop that will properly fit you and give you options. One that lets you shoot a few...

      Any bourbon drinkers here

I'm a Jim Beam fan. Just tried Devil's cut by Beam enjoyed. Also got some Evan Williams last weekend it's pretty nice as well. I'm not really big on flavors but know some that do. When I get the rare craving for a flavor around holidays I tend to go with Crown which is a Canadian as I am sure...
