Article 894 is deferred sentencing for misdemeanors (Article 893 is for felonies). This means you are convicted of said crime, but not yet sentenced. Rather, you are placed on probation and if you successfully complete this probation, you are able to have the conviction removed (and it will stay...
In the same boat......finishing my degree this year, got my POST and my few years experience and will be looking for something new pretty soon, I hope!
I have "heard" that LSP will hire directly into their investigations divisions without doing the road if you have the right...
i drive a Dodge Nitro...actually not crazy about the car with the exception of a recessed area on the left of the console (next to my right knee) that also has a big wide elastic band across it....not sure what it was meant to hold, but it holds my holstered .357 revolver perfectly...when i...
Just my two cents...why are you looking at revolvers for a new shooter who fears for her safety...i understand the whole "point and shoot...it's so easy" concept, but unless she has really focused on scenario shooting and psychological preparation, chances are she will fire off those 5 or 6...
I am in academy now...our weapons are inspected and we are patted down TWICE before entering the building on range days...having one round of live ammo is immediate grounds for dismissal.
