super safety is not a FRT< but similar in that it allows you a third position to speed up shots on target.. check it out, its not as robust as frt, but might be easier to get running..- themcfarland

I found my 300 blackout limits 2 years ago.. I had an sbr with like a 4 inch barrel and a can on it.. it was handy as hell and light. I was shooting the factory barnes tac tx or tac x. black and gold box.. 110 grain.. it was consistent and accurate , but after about 140 yards or so...- themcfarland

I have a PWS mk2 216 in 308. it ran great without a can, when I added a Dead air nomad , it still ran fine without any changes. they do have adjustable gas blocks, but I didnt change it.. 2024 Best Bang for the Buck: Bolt-Action and Straight-Pull.
If I had to choose, Id get a tikka all day.. over the others.. they are also making prefit barrels now for them, so if you like the action and want to change calibers, you are able to swap barrels with simple tools. folks are winning matches with out of the box tikkas. Not dumb. just wanted to see what it's about. We sent texts back and forth with no cellular service on. It also has a compass to show where the nodes are if you don't know. Just experiments . Certainly could use it for grid down , for slow speed telemetry, like weather stations ...- themcfarland
