      The only reason there's a grip safety on the damned things is because the US Cavalry wanted it to be "more safe." However it does quite the opposite.

      Luckily, I can just buy another upper and throw that one on for practice, then keep the .223 upper on for when the zombies come. But i've got a pretty good stockpile of .223, enough to get me to the next nearest sotckpile if I'm trigger happy.

      If this happened to me, I wouldn't care how how it was or how long it took. And if the officer refuses to call his supervisor, call dispatch and ask that they send the supervisor. Aren't LEOs required to call a supervisor if you ask?
