Every school needs two or three door kicking pipe hitting retired operators in a room with their equipment ready to go when the wolf shows up. No need for hundreds of locals to show up and waste resources and money. Give them pay and school board benefits. I would bet they’re many who would take great pride in protecting our kids. Break glass in case of emergency and let them work!

In an interview, the sheriff said the guns would be available for LEOs that responded to a call and certain on site school employees that had received training. There are people jumping up and down saying more guns lead to more gun voilence. I agree. Anyone that enters these schools with the intention of doing harm will be on the receiving end of more violence.
