Ronal Serpas got on yesterday and told Tommy there isn't any statistic showing an increase in anything in the other states that have constitutional carry.

Yeah I heard their concerns. Most law enforcement is against it and I understand their sentiment on it. Let’s just hope new gun owners practice and research gun safety.
I thought they were already mandated to do that from a previous Session? If not, they damn sure should provide it now!
As for the naysayers; screw them! That mentality is; "Me, but not you!"

Oh no, the State Police won't make as much money from permits.

The solution for ranges is to develop and market quality classes that people would want to go to and not some herp derp fudd teaching a basic NRA class.
I don't. Not even a little. If they're upset about not being able to stop and frisk, that's a problem. If they're upset people won't have to pay extra to defend themseleves that's a problem and dare i say a little tyrannical. If they don't understand being a cop is extremely dangerous by it nature and accept that, they should seek other employment.
If it was about safety they would be screaming the safety basics and use of force laws from the rooftops. Not once I have seen anyone of political consequence suggest making training and education easier to obtain an understand.
Violating law abiding people's rights isn't something I'll ever condone or understand
I called "The Scoot Show" yesterday and told Ian(guest host) that this new law will likely thin out the heard, but the good instructors will benefit and just might offer intermediate and advanced classes. He actually agreed with me after he initially feared this would put all the instructors out of business.

Taking the class once is a good idea. She should get the Lifetime permit which I believe doesn't require taking the same class over and over again.
Lifetime requires every 5 year training.
I think this will all calm down when the Thuglets realize that their would be victims shot back. They will find out that Dying ain’t much of a Living. The smarter ones will stop & the not so smart will be worm food.
