You thought I was too ugly or is it all the wild azz shooters doing muzzle sweeps?
Too many morons handling guns while I was down range cleaning targets and Cold Range was called, another guy tried to shoot a 50 BMG round he was going to throw out on the range, we all told him no F*** way dude! So I quit going there.
If being ugly is a reason you can't go there I should have been banned for life!! lol

Cold range means nothing at Sherburne…. You have to watch your back while changing targets or have Sombody you trust staying in the line to stop the dummies…and you still have to argue with them as to why they cannot look through there loaded gun scope to see target why people are changing targets … it’s scary there.. that’s why I’m glad I got a range in my back yard now…

I have been lucky at Sherburne, when it comes to range users, because everyone seemed about as paranoid as I was & everyone was well behaved. The annoying part to me is the baffles, having to duck so low to aim/shoot hurts my back, and not being able to fire faster than once per second. I know you don't *have* to shoot fast for pretty much any reason, but still. Why treat people like bench shooters at a slingshot range?

I remember a couple of the Sherburne shoots. I was just getting into NFA (circa 2008). There were macs, M16s, uzi and no ******* baffles. First time I showed up after the baffles, didn't even unload my stuff.
It would be cool to go to some private property and cut loose.

I agree about the baffles , but what rules ?
1 shot per second is the one that always bothers me. I get it though, to some degree, there is a station right there and also a camping area there...I doubt they want people there testing full auto, etc.

I'm usually on the pistol range . I go during the middle of the week and get there around 8 am . It's not unusual to be the only one there . There's more traffic on the rifle side .

I’ve met a handful of members through transactions and Advantage Group classes back when. I’d be down for a meet & shoot event.
