Welcome from youngsville.
I'd recommend a Glock 43x for reliability and relatively affordable. Thinner than your average Glock 17/19, very light and concealable. M&P shield Plus is also an excellent choice.
@fishimani depending on where you are in lafayette, it may be a shorter drive down south to the Iberia Parish Sherriff's range out at the jail off 90. There are 2 pistol ranges and a rifle range out to 100yards. Rifle benches are well kept and is fully shaded from the sun. It is free and open to...
This was the Iberia Parish sheriff's range out at the jail. Probably 10 mins south of you if you're in Cade. Awesome range. 100yrd rifle range and a nice pistol range with falling steel. It's free and open to the public; Saturday 8-1 and Sunday 12-3
The range was busy today, so I didn't quite have the room I wanted to set up cameras at a few different angles, but still not bad. Always hard to get a sense of how it sounds on video, but it was very enjoyable in person.
Also a bonus garbage quality muffled gopro shot of steel shooting at...
That is def one way to do it if you like throwing money away lol. Seems like trusts are coming down into the 2-3 month range these days, while individuals can be a few days to a month. I cant see it being worth an extra $200 for a couple months, but it's not my money.
I wish I knew man lol. Some people are still getting 2-3 days, while other people seem to be in the 30-40 day range. Back before I had my CCW, my background checks would take 30-40 mins, while other dudes were basically instant, so I figured there was some correlation there. I've also lived in 5...
Both were individual.
Seems like a lot more recently filed trusts are getting down into the 8-12 week range though, which is nice to see. I still have a SST trust credit with SilencerShop, just waiting until the times get lower to use it.
My 22 can back in march took 43 days, and my 556 can that just got released yesterday took 28 days. By that math, if I order another one here soon, it might only take 2 weeks lol
