There is a reason why the BMW community affectionately calls the official service center "stealerships". I visited my local one for the first time yesterday looking for some plastic clips for my 21 year old BMW...10 pieces for ~$75. Walked the hell out of that place. When I got home, I checked...
News anchor basically says "In conclusion, here's a video submitted by our viewers in which several young people fly on a fire extinguisher through a subway train car" She mentions that the police was notified of the event, so perhaps it is a true event. It is, however, staged because the laws...
This is the kind of crap that makes it on the news in Russia :( One of the reasons I don't have much trust in any Russian news media. As stated above, there's no way in hell a fire extinguisher will levitate with a grown man on top of it.
112 is a not a number that I would dial to get through to the police dispatcher. It is a universal GSM number that will connect you to the nearest emergency response center. In fact, you can dial this number from any cell phone even without a SIM card and it will go through. No, this is not the...
The tanker was making a right turn onto a street with what is known as a "brick sign" in Russia. These mean Wrong Way... Road rules in Russia are very loosely followed and hardly enforced. This is the result.
Don't think this has showed up here yet. I've heard of homeowners getting sued by the perps...but for a perp to dial 911 because he is afraid? That's new

I'm getting a whopping $2 back. Yes, two bucks. Not upset though. It just means that I didn't give the government an interest-free loan for a year. Being single with a good income is rape come tax-time.
+1 For River Ridge. I've been living in the Elmwood area for about 2.5 years now and its been quiet and worry-free. The rent around here for single bedroom apartments is in the 700-800 range. Uptown is 10-15 minutes away if you use Earhart Expressway. Plenty of retail stores around including...
Here's our New Orleans local club: http://www.nomacrc.com/ The site has links to other LA clubs though. You'll typically see jets at their fun fly events or some may even host a dedicated jet event a few times a year.
These operate on Jet A kerosene with a little oil mixed in. For a plane that size, I'd expect 20-30 oz of fuel to be used. Maybe even less depending on how much space they have inside.
Let's see...
R/C Planes/Helicopters/Cars
Fixing real cars
Working with computers
Camping/canoeing on occasion
Nice to see that there are other people on here that are into R/C. :)
