1911 in 9mm
Poor_shot, I agree with you wholeheartedly. The Dan Wesson is one of those overlooked guns in the 1911 world. Not participating in the market panic, on to something different.
There will be some deals to be had once all dies down. How many stripped lowers were sold to guys that will never build a gun?! I'll also be wary of any AR platform gun for sale in the next few years. I'm sure there will be a lot of substandard builds out there. -
1911 in 9mm
You can't go wrong with that Springfield. They are a workhorse of a gun. Triggers are usually quite acceptable from the factory. If not, that's an easy fix for a good gunsmith. Engraved Sig P238
The nice thing about engraving is that it won't wear out. All of the scrollwork is cut fairly deep. As for price on a job like this. Not cheap. The reason is the relief work. Removing the background takes double the time of cutting the scrolls. This gun would around $1000 to cut fine scroll in... -
