Mine is currently that I own zero firearms after recently selling 2 and having 1 stolen
I'll use some kung fu **** on the next person that tries me
I just looked it up after seeing this thread... Hadn't heard anything about it.
Supposedly, Obama announced that Osama was killed in a "military operation"...
I'm wondering if it is true, or if there is a government cover-up here (especially given Obama's upcoming re-election bid)...
I'd have to say trigger discipline has to be my biggest one. Even seeing someone on TV or in a picture with their finger ont he trigger while not intending to shoot pisses me off.
Was going to say getting muzzle swept, but firearms typically don't discharge if your finger isn't on the trigger...
Another point to debate about for pages:
Since the weapon was loosely secured in a holster, and the holster was stolen via the use of a firearm...
Is it armed robbery?
Incorrectly filed police report? lol k. Incorrect would be NEGLECTING to file it, or lying... Unless you meant on the incompetent officer's neglect to file it correctly.
Going over incompetent officers' heads? Of course. If they don't do their job correctly, I will be sure that someone does...
ROFL no mass murder, it's an information thing. I want to be 100% prepared for the meeting with the SGT next week. Will make his job a bit easier.
There has been no arrest (or at least questioning) because they didn't have the report filed correctly, did't have enough information from me...
I can't go into details, but there's supposedly going to be a printed list of this guy's "life history" sitting in front of me Monday. Sure do love my friends.
Easily found the name of all of his siblings, mom, dad, etc. online... The address in the OP is his mom's house.
Hypothetical here:
Guy manages to pull an officer's sidearm out of his holster and a struggle and battery ensues. Weapon is pointed at the officer during the struggle, even accidentally. Guy gets away.
Armed robbery, aggravated battery, or simple theft?
This is exactly what the officer told me. He stated that since the suspect DID use force and intimidation WHILE in control and/or in partial control of the weapon, it was clear-cut armed robbery. He asked me if the firearm was pointed at me at any time during the struggle (yes) and if the...
Also, if anyone knows the contact information (preferably e-mail, but otherwise is fine) for anyone high up at both BRPD and LSUPD who would take note of a well deserved compliment and kind words pertaining to these officers, please feel free to post it or PM it.
If I complain when someone...
Oh yeah, I'm ecstatic that things are finally sorted out. Thank you for the well wishes, man.
I'm not even so much worried about the gun... I just want this shithead put behind bars.
■■■ UPDATE 4/29/11 ■■■ (Original post is quoted below for those who missed it)
I just recently found (on Facebook) and got in touch with the friend who I originally met this guy through years ago... Went ahead and got the confirmation on his full name.
Braden Townsend is the name, so I did...
Thanks dude, I think that sums it all up well.
Would love suggestions for spots to hide one in my GT. I was used to carrying it in my 300C (I neglected the poor GT when I had my 300C), where there was no shortage of places to conceal it with easy access.
It was hidden as good as you can hide it in a sports car... He was leaning forward when he saw it, I can't help that.
I don't leave the gun in my car when I'm not in the car, but it IS (was.. heh) the one that comes with me any time I leave the house and will sit int he car while I run in the...
Louisiana considers your vehicle an extension of your home, no CCW required.
As far as a backup gun, I am not nearly paranoid enough to carry a backup gun when giving someone I know (or knew, as it may be) a ride. Maybe it would have done something, but likely it would have just caused a...
I am being 100% on what I know. I am not 100% on his last name, as this was a dude I last associated with 8 years ago, when I was 16-17 years old, and have known again for several days. I'm not going to throw around a name (or any other details) if I am not 100% sure that it is accurate...
Of course... We've all read the stories of 'idiot criminals', et al... However, I think that is far from the norm, and for the majority populace to be treated with the suspicion that I was when there was no need for it (provided clear and concise details to the officer, was courteous, didn't...
