      Question about an M1 Garand - Compensator & Gas Plug. Good Idea???

      I'm no expert, but I'd only recommend shooting a 7.62x51 NATO load something similar through your rifle. Like anything from the PPU 145 gr. to the Federal 150 gr. stuff. That way you don't need to change anything really. Don't shoot the Russian steel cased stuff in it though like Brown Bear...
