3,225 rounds is a pretty good amount of rounds but in my experience it doesn't rate two exclamation marks unless you are genuinely surprised at that accomplishment.

I have always preferred the original rounded, elegant trigger guard to the "hooked" trigger guard.
My Berettas today are a M21 Bobcat 22LR and a 92FS Desert Storm Commemorative.
Just from a cursory look at the exterior, all I can see that has been done to it is the front slide serrations, a hammer, a trigger and a beavertail. The sights are not factory but also not milled into the slide like what Wilson usually would have done as the rear is in the original factory...
Unless I was considering a KAC, a 69XX series Colt would be my first choice.
There are other considerations out there such as FN and LMT but I have, and still do, prefer and own Colts.
The Expanse line is, in may opinion, not really a "Colt."

This season I bought a Honda EU2200i and installed an hour meter. Spent some time doing a proper break-in but never needed it here in Mandeville. Ran it till it was out of gas, changed the oil and I'm ready for next year.
I have been carrying a G43 in a Dark Star Hitch Hiker holster and it works well for me.
With a Taran +1 mag floorplate and 1 in the barrel I have 8 rounds.
