Welcome from youngsville. I'd recommend a Glock 43x for reliability and relatively affordable. Thinner than your average Glock 17/19, very light and concealable. M&P shield Plus is also an excellent choice.- e30andrew

@fishimani depending on where you are in lafayette, it may be a shorter drive down south to the Iberia Parish Sherriff's range out at the jail off 90. This was the Iberia Parish sheriff's range out at the jail. Probably 10 mins south of you if you're in Cade. Awesome range. 100yrd rifle range and a nice pistol range with falling steel. It's free and open to the public; Saturday 8-1 and Sunday 12-3 -

That is def one way to do it if you like throwing money away lol. Seems like trusts are coming down into the 2-3 month range these days, while individuals can be a few days to a month. I cant see it being worth an extra $200 for a couple months, but it's not my money. -
