      .45-70 lever guns

      405 gr @ 1300 FPS out of a Marlin 1895gbl shoots really soft. It’s ridiculous how easy it is to shoot. The same bullet @ 1700 FPS..... not so much. If I had to do it over again I would get another GBL and slap an aimpoint micro on top. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

      I saw the same thing while researching and called up Glock. They said if its within the SAAMI specs the new G40 would shoot it just fine. The internet is full of **** half the time. I've got a couple of boxes of Underwood ammo on the way ordered in anticipation. 180, 200, and 220 gr boxes to try.

      Repetitive draws will eventually wear a grove on the plastic locking mechanism from your front sight. Just FYI. No big deal since they will send you a new one for free.

      Fish should be cruising the shores of the lake right after day break. Sun comes up everything goes deep (i.e. away from the bank) except for the occasional drum and sheepshead. You'll see more action before the sun gets up there.
