Since January 2013 the website "combinedresults.info" was there to use. Now when you hit their address, a big fat list of "fails" shows-up instead of the normal data. Did they quit or is my link corrupted/broken/etc ? It was pretty fast and free. You could see all the matches' results by club...
Y'all,
Keith reminded me to bring my rig. CRO class will include a workshop Sunday morning at the EAPS range setting-up stages and shooting stages. Bring your range bag if you're staying Saturday (in a motel). jus' sayin'.
BTW p.m. me if you need a place to sleep Sat. night. I have a room...
The .40 SA XDm 5.25 is approved for Production Division
John Amidon said in an Email yesterday that the SA 5.25 XDM .40SW and 45ACP were now added to the Production Division Approved List; along-with the 9mm
The Devil never changes his ways.
Please do a little research before voting for our next (4 year term) USPSA president. FRONT SIGHT has some candidate information in it's latest issue, but the web has much more.
I say: Avoid the guy with the greatest obvious conflicts-of-interest, and the...
Just in case you need to know:
While all of Alabama is officially part of the Central time zone, a few towns on the state's eastern border with Georgia, such as Phenix City in Russell County, Lanett in Chambers County and some towns in Lee County, set their watches and clocks on Eastern time...
Yesterday's GUN OWNERS of AMERICA email update cited the BATFE reclassified shotguns (in 2009) that are equipped with pistol grips. By decree in 2009 that such firearms are not "shotguns," the ATF acted as a de facto legislative-making body. Now these destructive devices are grouped together...
Where's da' beef.
I have checked the USPSA and the LAgator websites and cannot find the GATOR match results.
B.S.com has the only recap? posted so far.
I'm trying to find the back-markers and screw-ups...IYKWIM...Vern:confused:
All Gun Owners, Hunters and Shooters:
With the fall hunting season fast approaching, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) under Lisa Jackson, who was responsible for banning bear hunting in New Jersey, is now considering a petition by the Center for Biological Diversity (CBD) - a leading...

Naturally the hot (whoopass) sun was a factor, but the match went-by fast. And lotsa fun & 24 shooters.
Wayne's stage had us up in some shade in a thicket again (`nam) for a few long shots on steel and some close-up paper.
The rest was typical...
I have a technical question regarding my XD45acp. service.
I have re-loaded thousands of 230 gr. lead truncated cone, using 4.3 grains of HP38 powder. They work perfectly in my gun. But...I want a minor power factor load for USPSA production class.
I have tried to develop a softer re-laod using...
Just went into the pit at Poplarville. My 2003 Chry. mini van had no trouble going up or down the red clay hill. It only turns to OWL Snit when it's raining. Range isn't even sloppy... gonna be perfect in the A.M.
MSPSA, (Poplarville) pistol match will be held as regularly scheduled, Sunday the 14th. That's according to BUZZWORM today.
Betcha the stages' names will warm your
I am always inclined to tinker with tools, guns, cars, anything, (modded is better! IMHO), but a match-barrel seems extreme due to the percentage of price of the gun. What are the top (5) reasons to up-grade a barrel on a USPSA gun: not in Open class? Like new Glocks, CZ's, Springfields, Smiths...
I have this friend who needs to find out...........What if you didn't know you can't trombone a brass brush in and out of your (5 inch 9mm) barrel 'til after it was waaay too late? what sort of permanent damage happened? if any? and how can you tell if you (he) screwed up?
I am still getting a grip on the USPSA sport. I have shot 3 and a third matches... (DQ'd in one) but never in freezing weather.
I asked two of the really seasoned guys what sort of special prep. it might take to be able to enjoy this Sunday's USPSA match in Poplarville. What I got was 1. Wear...
