This is one of the nicest VZ-24s I've seen and hate to get rid of it but need funds for something else. The wood is outstanding and the finish is also great. This is a matching rifle and the crest has been buffed on by the Russkies. I have fired probably 20 rounds thru it with no problems--hell, who has ever had a problem with a Mauser K98 type rifle? Would make an excellent addition to a collection or an Eastern Front re-enactor. These rifles were used almost exclusively on the Eastern Front. This particular one was issued to Romanian, or now Rumanian troops fighting with the Germans. You can have this piece of history for $300.00.
