I haven't had any time to go plinking. The rifle was striped down so that I could remove the old bluing and remove the original stain from the stock. I used the pictured bluing kit and stain kit but did not apply the tru oil to the stock yet. When I reassembled the rifle I put the front sight on before putting the rings back on that hold the upper barrel cover and never went back to remove the sight and slip the rings on.
I'm selling the rifle, bayonet (numbers matching), cleaning/service tools, original metal but stock cover, rubber butt stock pad, bluing kit, staink kit and a surplus can of 440 7.62x54r ammo. Any questions, please contact me.
