I was checking out gunbroker and typed in GSG5 as I do ever couple of days and look at what's out there.

475 buy it now with 25 flat rate shipping. That is the best deal I've seen by about 50 bucks in a while.

What should I get for it now? I know some of you guys have some heavily modded ones. Where is the best deal on a better stock? preferably collapsible?

I would definitely go with the GSG collapsible stock, over some of the other ones out there. Not that it's any more sturdy (none that I've ever played with are), but the front of right stock rail is milled out to allow it to be fired with the stock closed; the others aren't.

Enjoy it, it's a fun little gun!

ICS stock picture, which was "OK" has metal rails but plastic locking piece (i believe the "GSG" stock is similar. I recently upgraded to a ClassicArmy "new style" A3 stock which has metal rails and metal locking piece. Also swapped out the thin plastic HG with a MP5 piece

a2 will require some dremel work, a3 will not work,

choate or a2 you would have to dremel down the stock section on the two rail ridges

check to see if the ejector has been riveted in or not. Look for a rivet in the center of it.
If not you will need to get a hold of ATI ( the importer) about getting the left side plate exchanged for the new style one.

I have a gsg collapsabe stock for sale if you want one. 30.00 bux and its yours

    Enjoy
