    I have a Ruger .357 Mag Blackhawk very good condition. Single action. My researhed has told me it was made in 1977. Asking $500 may be able to work a trade. Reduced $400

    Yea it is nice. I would be very interested in it, but I got a Vaquero on hold right now.

    I have someone that is intrested in it for his father. He said his farther was looking for a Vaquero and asked me what was the differnce I could not tell himcould you educate me on the difference.

    heres a picture of the 2. The main differences are the Frame, Sights. The Vaquero's have a notched rear sight in the frame, as opposed to the Blackhawks adjustable sights, and the frame is significantly smaller on the Vaquero, thus making it more lightwieght. Vaquero's are more "traditional" in their styling, back to old Colt's and old time cowboy guns, making them a hit with the guys who do the Cowboy shooting matches. There are some other sublte differences, such as the hammers and the beveled cylinders on the Vaquero too.
