TowTruck, you probably don't know the guys a Riverside Towing, but there is a special place reserved for them in hell. This comment does not reflect on you, but your name brought back bad memories.

I wouldn't trust a 9mm with my life. I typically prefer .40, but I also like .45....Of course, shot placement is key. Here is an interesting article from the FBI: http://www.firearmstactical.com/hwfe.htm

I have always heard from various individuals that the new 9mm rounds are more effective than those available in 1989 when this article was written. With that said, I still prefer the .45 ACP.:D

It doesn't matter to me. I feel comfortable with 9, 357Sig, 40, and 45. Just for some reason, I tend to carry a 40, guess I feel it's the best of both worlds.

9mm baby. sometimes .45, never .40 though. To me 40 just isn't worth the very slight ballistic advantage for all the negatives like added recoil, less rounds in a mag, more expensive ammo to shoot. I also agree with jeremy it's all about shot placement.

.41 Mag. 9's are for freaks and thugs. 10's for the auto laoder. Don't have one at this moment, but I am eyeing an EAA Witness. .40 is nothing but a wussified 10.
I load my own so cost isn't a factor.
