I did, but it didn't do any good. It was a close vote. Only good thing is that this has to go to the Senate now. Hopefully it will die there. I'm getting pretty pissed at our government. Even a drunkin sailor has more sense. There is definitely a belief by some officials that decisions made by the government are better than ones made by individual citizens. They're wrong of course, but that's not what counts. Votes count.
I've already written Vitter and Landrieu on this. Landrieu is the one we have to ensure votes no. Vitter will already vote no.
