5" barrel stainless steel Smith & Wesson supplied with 2 sets of grips (Hogue combat square and Morado wood round buttstocks), satin stainless finish, 5 interchangeable front sights, numbered test target. Produced 1992-2002

From beginning of production, test target dated 7-1-92

I've got an old Classic 29. One of the most surprisingly accurate pistols I've owned. Just like yours, with the long lug - except in blue. Worst prob was finding leather for it.
