Does anyone have small pistol primers in the Lafayette area? I just returned from the gun show in Lafayette and couldn't find primers there either! They have small magnum primers at Lafayette Shooters if anyone is looking. But only 300 primers per customer per visit

wideners has a bunch of wolf primers that just arrived the other day, and if you order enough the hazmat fee would be a wash compared to the inflated prices you would pay at a gun show.

I'm not desperate enough- yet- to buy Wolf primers.

I know, I know, all sorts of folks use them with no issues, etc., etc.

But in addition to being a cranky old fart, I'm also a PICKY old fart... ;)

    .

Can't teach an old dog new tricks I guess. I use them, no problems, no cat-**** smell either, and they (at the time) were much cheaper than the others.

A number of our highpower shooters have been shooting Wolfs and like them. Use the small rifle mag primers for .223. They have thicker cups. I am pretty sure these are the same Russian primers that PMC was importing. If so, they are a hot item with some of the better long range shooters.
