New Stippling design

Something different I decided to try today. Any opinions? Don't worry, I take criticism well.

What do you use to do that?

I hand draw the design and use an adjustable temp. woodburning tool with different tips.

I like it. Now you need to add a spider. Obvious choice is the black widow. Maybe the backside on one side and the belly side on the other side of the stock. If you could colorize the red hourglass belly that would be a nice touch.

Is that good or bad. I've seen both kinds in prison. Although, I have seen some real nice leather work come out of prison.

I'm working on putting a spider in the middle. I also hate spiders and snakes.

I like it. It looks raised, I would think the woodburner would leave more of a channel or a groove.

It is a groove. Not raised. It gives excellent texture for better gripping.
