Why don't we, the members of Bayou Shooter chip in and buy it. Has anybody ever shot a cannon? Would you like to? We could really blow some serious #%^&@ up, plus talk about bragging rights.

    Is it possible?

cannons of any size dont need a tax stamp, as long as they load from the muzzle, no cased ammo.

Shooting those things gets expensive, they usually take at least a pound of powder, and black powder aint cheap.

Years ago I saw one fired at a Civil War re-enactment. They put a bag of blackpowder followed by 3 bags of ammonium nitrate, then stuffed with paper wads and fired. What a blast. It was about the size of this one. The guy said it has a 5 mile range.

    cannon power factor

    Only if they make Major.

A lead bullet with a diameter of 2 1/4" (r=1.125) that was (for example) 3" long would weigh 2215.09 grams based on the density of lead; this equates to 3410.55 grains. This projectile would have to travel at 48.37 fps (or 32.97 mph) to make major power factor of 165. Reloads may take a while, but at least you're more likely to break the perforation. ;) As an added bonus you could fill it with chains and horse shoes when you manage to wheel it over to the texas star.

If you've ever seen me shoot a texas star, you'd know that somehow I would still have to worry about plates falling:D

All shenanigans aside; That is a nice piece of equipment. Hope it finds a good home...
