OK, I have gig to work Saturday night at a large business. This is a "gray" area concerning CHP. I'm sticking to my policy of " what they can not see ain't hurting them." But in the event that a situation came up where I was in danger of my life, with no way out of situation, and had to use my weapon to defend myself, how would this affect me legally. I know I'd have a hell of an ordeal immediately afterward until everything got figured out. But what about being in a "grey" area and legally defending myself. Would I be illegal and go to prison? Or have my CHP revoked? What would I be looking at?

You would be potentially a criminal because you may be interpreted as breaking the law. That does not put you in a good light when a jury of your "peers" is passing judgement.

That said, you would maybe be alive.

    Didn't you take my class?

No I haven't met you yet, Nola. But hope too one day.

The gray area is this. I'll be collecting tickets to an MMA fight at a casino. Then afterwards watching the fight. I won't be on the gambling floor but in one of the back entertainment rooms.

Hopefully there won't be an outcome, that night or any other time. But I will be prepared either way.

Its some fights in Marksville. A fight club out of Alexandria putting on some fights.

Would ya'll consider my actions irresponsible?

Are you an employee of the casino? Is the entertainment room considered a bar that sells alcohol?

OK lets say they were at the Casino. What do the Indians say about guns in their casino? Is it LA state law or Indian law?

I just found this on the Tribe website. Looks like the enforce State laws too. The said you have to be 21 to gamble by state law.

    Tunica-Biloxi Tribal Police Function:

The primary functions of the Police Department are the preservation of the public peace and order, the prevention and detection of crime, the apprehension of offenders, and the protection of persons and property. It must uphold the Constitution of the United States, enforce the laws of the State and the ordinances of the Tunica-Biloxi Tribe.
