S&W Model 457?

Know nothing about them. Got offered one in a trade. Anyone have any experience with them? I want to hear the good, bad, and ugly. Thanks guys.

I have one and like it. It is my "truck gun" so it doesn't get used a lot. Bought it from a Baton Rouge P. D. Detective that carried it as a back up. Dept. policy was 9 mm & he got caught so had to sell it to get another 9. I have probably run 100 rounds though it with no problems. Shoots pretty good for a short barrel (4" I think). I also shoot a 1911 so I don't notice the recoil too much.

That one is in better condition than the one I was offered. That one looks like a newer model. The one I was offered looks funky.

Back in the day when my dad had a gunshop he had one that was a special "reverse two-tone" with a black slide and a silver looking frame. I wanted it, but he just bought me a sig 229 at the time so I had was stuck with the 229.
