    Without a spring to push the rounds up from the bottom it wouldn't work. The 1911 doesn't a feeding mechanism that pulls rounds into the action. It of course relies on the magazine spring to push the rounds into the action. Plus the 1911 action has nothing in place to delink the rounds as they're fed much less a port (magazine port) big enough to eject the spent links. What you have there is a guy with a sense of humor.

    Look at the brass. It looks more like a 50ae round than a 45ACP. If not, it still looks too long to even go into the grip where the magazine slides into.
