Up for grabs is a Marlin Model 39A Golden 22 Lever Action Rifle.
Serial Number dates the rifle to approx. 1957.
Has the sought after pre 1970 oil finished stock. Gold Trigger
Brought it to gunsmith to inspect and was told it needed some work to correct a slight chambering problem. It will chamber 5-6 rounds then skip one then chamber again and maybe shoot a full magazine with no problems.
Cost to fix it by gunsmith I thought was expensive, however; if someone who was handy it could be repaired by polishing and some other replacement springs etc i was told.
Gun in 70-80% condition??
