Im not sure if this is allowed in the classified section, but I will post it here anyway and if not, the mods can just remove it.

On 9/09/09 at Approx 8pm 2 Glock pistols

    1 G22 .40 S&W Ser #: ALZ 917 (Gen 1)

    and

    1 G33 .357 SIG Ser #: NGH 701 (New)

Were stolen from my vehicle in my driveway north of Denham Springs.

They have been reported to the Livingston Parish S.O. as stolen but who knows when they will make it to NCIC.

A small reward is offered for the return of these 2 guns. If you see them, please call your local law enforcement agency immediately and send me a
    PM here.

Thanks so much for your assistance.

Sorry to hear that man. I'll keep a look out for the serials. Are you in Watson? Or what area so we know to look out.

    +1 Sorry man.

So, will you ever keep guns in your car overnight again?

I usually bring them in when I get out in the afternoon, yesterday was
a break from my usual routine and bam.

I'm 36 years old and have lived in the same location my whole life and we
have never once had a single thing stolen from here.

The times they are a changing, thanks Hurricane Katrina.

Might be a good idea to get this information out to the local pawn shops and maybe to some vendors at the gun show this weekend. I know it's a long shot, but maybe worth it.

I had a G27 stolen out of my truck in Sept. 07. It was found a little over a year later in Sacramento, CA. Sorry to say it, but odds are yours are already half way to Cali, or Mexico. Good luck. I did eventually get mine back, but it was a hassle.

Best of luck finding them Fang. I will keep the serial#s as well as I am offered Glocks on a regular basis. Keep us posted if they are recovered.

Man that sucks. I live in Denham also and we havent had a break-in in the 10 years ive been there. Ive left on a 7 day trip and forgot to lock my car and nothing was taken thank god (had alot of money in it haha). Just recently though ive noticed alot more people driving down my street than usual, there have been times where i just forgot my gun in the truck or whatnot but now i make it a point to just take it out everytime i get home. You never know as this proves, it can happen at any time. Good luck getting your stuff back.

I lost my HK P9S when I was carjacked, IPSO found it 7 or 8 months later. Had to wait another 6 months till I could pick it up. They never did find my Beretta Urika, damn shame.

Everyone who copied the serials down, please note I accidentally transposed
2 letters on the G22. I fixed it in the original post, it should be ALZ 719.

Thanks for the encouraging words, everyone.

I have pretty much resigned myself to the fact I won't see either of them
    again.

The real kicker is this: I just purchased the G33 this past Saturday on Tax-Free weekend, and I just purchased the G22 on Labor Day from a friend. Have had neither of them a week.
