I have an A-500. I don't know anything about it though or how it's different from an A-5. It was acquired from a friend who needed money. It looks like the A-5.

Incidentally, I also have a S&W 1000 that I came about the same way... It's kind of pretty but I don't really hunt much and if I do I plan on using my Winchester Super X Model 1.

Cabela's did have some on the used rack the last time I was in there but that was like a month ago or better.
