Anyone know of a good spot to stalk fish from the bank?

A buddy and I are planning on going fishing/bowfishing tonight, boats out of comission so we're looking for a place to stalk 'em from the bank. Let me know if you have any hotspots and you're welcome to join us.

There's this NICE indoor place in NOLA by the river and the French Quarter...

Sorry, I couldn't help it. I just got this mental image of a couple coonasses walking around in cajun Reeboks with bows and headlights at the aquarium.

If I can think of anything else I'll let you know...

Best Place

The best place I've found to snag fish without a boat is Albertson's Seafood Dept. in Hammond, La.

Ask for Ms. Cathy she will help your with your catch and this trip though it may not be as fun as standing on the Chafunctia River snagging them fishies it will be a hell of a lot cheaper I GUARAntee!!
