Question, does a pistol upper fit on a regular lower?

Yes any .223 lower will fit it, but the lower could not have be used for a carbine before! Either a new built lower or 1 that has been used on an ar pistol only!
You cannot have a rifle lower on a pistol upper, even being it will fit!
you can only use a pistol buffer tube also otherwise it will be a SBR & you dont want that!!
If im not mistaken thats the law! Unless you have a stamp!!
But that's it!!

If you put it on a regular low you have to get it registered as a cIII weapon because it would be a rifle with a barrell of less than 12" IIRC.

16" or less = SBR
