Not very familiar with MS carry laws, but I'm aware that with my LA permit, cc shouldn't be an issue. I'll be deer hunting in MS the week after Thanksgiving, and would like to OC while in the woods (for snakes, etc). I seriously doubt I'd run into any trouble either way, or even see anyone, but I'd like to stay on the legal side. Any issues with this?

As long as it's not bow season, I think you are fine.

IIRC, OC is only allowed in MS during firearm related activities such as hunting. CC is fine.

Good luck, I'll be up there Saturday morning.

I have hunted there for eight years and have OCed every time I go out. Ran into the game warden one day while on the road, with a deer on my four wheeler, OCing, and all he said when we stopped to talk was "nice deer, be careful".

This year will be a little more interesting because you can hunt with suppressors in MS for any game any caliber. Called Jackson, MS to verify and all is good to go. Pics will follow after this weekend.

    Good Luck
